April 28, 2020 - METAMATERIALS 2020 GOES ONLINE

We have been carefully monitoring the Covid-19 situation worldwide and have decided to run this year Metamaterials Congress in an online format. With this change, we extend the deadline for the paper submission to May 18th.

A web-based format of this year Metamaterials Congress will help the community stay together and exchange fresh ideas and the latest research results. Making the community aware of your recent work is a way to stay closer in these difficult times.

We are currently finalizing the conference arrangements. We expect to support live oral and poster sessions in which the authors will be able to present their work and answer questions from the audiences spread across  different time zones.

We will also support publication of conference papers subjected to the usual review process. The accepted papers that will be remotely presented will be published in the conference proceedings (and in the IEEE Xplore, if you select this option when submitting your contribution).

Stay safe,
Metamaterials Congress Organizers

The Fourteenth International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena – Metamaterials2020will comprise a 4-day Conference (28 September – October 1), and a 2-day Doctoral School (2October). Co-organized by the METAMORPHOSE VI AISBL (https://www.metamorphose-vi.org) and the The City University of New York (CUNY)this Congress follows the success of Metamaterials2007-2019 and continues the traditions of the highly successful series of International Conferences on Complex Media and Metamaterials (Bianisotropics) and Rome International Workshops on Metamaterials and Special Materials for Electromagnetic Applications and Telecommunications. The Congress will provide a unique topical forum to share the latest results of the metamaterials research. It will bring together the engineering, physics, applied mathematics and material science communities working on artificial materials and their applications in electromagnetism/optics, acoustics/mechanics, transport, and multi-physics.

Neaspec designs, manufactures and distributes advanced nanoscale optical imaging & spectroscopy microscopes, and was founded to revolutionize nanoscale analytics, with the ultimate goal to enable technological & scientific progress in every lab around the world. neaspec’s neaSNOM microscope combines the best of two worlds: the nanoscale resolution of atomic force microscopy with the analytical power of FTIR infrared imaging & spectroscopy. The neaSNOM allows studying chemical, structural, and electronic properties of a sample at a spatial resolution up to 1000-times higher compared to conventional technology like micro FT-IR. The non-destructive measurement method is equally suited for organic and inorganic samples and requires only standard AFM sample preparation.

Journal of Materials Chemistry C is a high quality journal publishing materials research with applications in optical, magnetic and electronic devices.

Materials Horizons is a leading journal for the publication of exceptionally high quality, innovative materials science, with an emphasis on original research that demonstrates a new concept or a new way of thinking.

Consisting of Nanoscale Horizons, Nanoscale, and Nanoscale Advances, the nanoscale journal family allows full coverage of interdisciplinary advances in nanoscience and nanotechnology.

Materials Advances is an international, gold open access journal, publishing good quality research across the breadth of materials science.
